You can download ZoiPer from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
How to prepare an extension on the Apex to work with ZoiPer
On an existing or new extension, go to the Technical Settings -> Transport and choose "UDP & TCP". Then save that extension.
Keep in mind that you are not supposed to use an extension account with a desk phone and a soft client at the same time. We cannot guarantee call delivery if you do that.
How to configure ZoiPer on your phone
Open the ZoiPer application and navigate to Settings -> Accounts -> Add account.
You will be presented with a message asking you "Do you already have an account (username and password)?". Select "Yes", and then "Manual Configuration".
Select the "SIP account" and fill in the following information:
Account Name: Your desired account name - i.e. Telecom2
Domain: You need to enter the domain name of your PBX, followed by ":25760". For example, if your Apex instance is located at "pbx-apex-mt-02.telecom2.net", the full entry would be:
pbx-apex-mt-02.telecom2.net:25760
Username: The extension username as it appears inside the extension settings of Apex
Password: The extension password as it appears inside the extension settings of Apex
Scroll further down on the screen and locate the "network Settings". Click on the "Transports" or "Transport type" and select "TCP".
Go back to the previous screen and select "Save" to finalise the account setup.
Please note that we do not endorse any particular soft client and using Apex in that was is allowed AS IS with no guarantees whatsoever.
